La Charrouffie is very proud to be associated with a professional chef who has worked with some of the best known chefs in the business and has run a small chain of Indian Fine Dinning restaurants in London.

Private Dining during your stay

Bonny's Plats A Emporter Catering Will offer La Charrouffie's guests exceptional food, either from a transitional French menu, or from an Indian menu.

During the summer season, food can be delivered to La Charrouffie, or, depending on the size of the party, the Chef will come to La Charrouffie to prepare your dinner.

Fine dinning delivered to La Charrouffie, £20.00 per head. for a minimum of 4 people.
Private chef hire: menus starting at £35 per head, customised 3 course menu, service and clearing up included. Wine suggestions can be provided at a surcharge. Minimum 6 people:

Cooking Courses, Markets and Short stays at La Charrouffie

During the mid and low season, when Riberac has it's "Truffle and Duck" market, we are extremely pleased to offer cooking courses at La Charrouffie. The format can be adjusted to suite your needs. We can accompany you during your stay and provide transport, or leave you to your own devices, and simply arrange the cooking course itself. The choice is yours. Equally we are happy to arrange all inclusive packages including your food and wine.

Some of the activities we suggest are:

  • Accompanied trip to Riberac Market on a Friday Morning.
      visit the Market in Riberac, and be able to see, smell and buy the fresh truffles and duck, as well as the fantastic local fruits, vegetables and cheeses. We will buy our lunch, and return to La Charrouffie to enjoy a lunch of local produce, including truffle omelette for which Riberac is famous.
  • Accompanied trip to Perigueux Market on a Saturday Morning.
      visit the roman city of Perigueux, and it's large market, stay in Perigueux for lunch, eating at one of the many restaurants that are well kept secrets of this beautiful town.

  • Learn how to make Mi-Cuit Foie Gras.
      For those who love Foie Gras, we will learn about the different methods of preparing it
  • Learn how to make a selection of Indian curries and Breads.
      Taught by an outstanding chef, we will learn about some of the tricks of indian cooking and how to make really authentic curries and breads
  • Visit some of the more interesting vineyards in the Begerac Region.
      The Begerac wine area is full of hidden gems with rich full bodied reds and amazing whites including Chardonnay's hidden amongst the official main grape varieties of Sémillon and Sauvignon blanc.


    We will always provide a plentiful continental breakfasts for guests.

Packages are tailored individually to your needs, and are aimed at those interested in food and cooking. The packages are always based on 4 people (two couples) minimum, and 8 people (4 couples) maximum. (Each couple will be accommodated with their own bathroom facilities).

All inclusive package includes

  • Transfers to/from either Bordeaux, Bergerac or Angouleme.
  • Fully board, including continental breakfasts, and wine at both lunch and dinner, (this may include lunch at a restaurant in Perigueux)
  • Cooking classes and all ingredients.
  • Wine tasting
  • All travel during your stay.
Costs per person, based on 2 sharing a room and a minimum of 4 people start at : £500 per person
